PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This activity will explore the management of patients with HER2-negative, metastatic gastric cancer and the emerging role of immunotherapy as a first-line treatment option.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, pathologists, internal medicine physicians, and others (eg, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, physician assistant, oncology nurse) involved in the management of patients with gastric cancer.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Review the current first-line treatment options for patients with HER2-negative, metastatic gastric cancer
- Discuss the use and interpretation of immuno-biomarkers in the evaluation of patients with metastatic gastric cancer
- Review emerging the clinical trials data for immunochemotherapy combinations as first-line therapy in patients with metastatic, HER2-negative gastric carcinoma
