PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This game-based activity highlights how to diagnose, treat, and/or manage patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria in their patients. The goals of the program are to enhance the clinician’s ability to use clinical findings and molecular biomarkers to identify disease severity and predict response to treatment; design treatment regimens for patients with CSU who fail to respond to therapy; and select appropriate therapeutic options based on evaluation of emerging clinical trial data.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for allergists/immunologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health care providers who diagnose, treat, and/or manage patients with CSU.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
On completing this program, attendees should be able to:
• Use clinical findings and molecular biomarkers to stratify patients with CSU according to disease severity and prognosis
• Design treatment plans for patients with CSU who are refractory to guideline recommended therapy
• Evaluate clinical trial data on the efficacy and safety of emerging biologics that target the underlying pathophysiology of CSU
