Med Learning Group has designed this innovative, multi-format educational program; aimed at increasing HCP’s ability to: incorporate the latest clinical data into the treatment of patients with hemophilia and sickle cell disease, individualize management based on patient-specific factors, and incorporate a shared decision making and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Program Features
- Quality Improvement Personalized Posters: To proactively support more patient-centric care, an online poster portal will be available for all learners, where you can select images to create your own personalized practice poster, which will then be sent to you so that it can be hung in your practice setting. In addition to the physically printed posters, learners will also receive a PDF version via email to use during telehealth sessions. These posters will serve as an effective reminder of the education and the clinical pearls that were reviewed by the faculty. The images for these posters will be specifically designed to promote dialogue around evidence from clinical trials assessing available and emerging therapies for the treatment of patients with chronic hematologic conditions including hemophilia and SCD and evaluating patient-specific characteristics when developing individualized management plans.
- Whiteboard Animations – During the live activity, there will be an innovative learning experience incorporating whiteboard animations to supplement the didactic learning, to help learners better visualize the pathophysiology of hemophilia and sickle cell disease, as well as the mechanism of action of emerging therapies for the treatment of patients with hemophilia and SCD . Learners have access to downloadable whiteboard animations to view and share post-education. These animations have proven useful in engaging patients and caregivers in care and sharing education with participants’ colleagues.

Learning Objectives
After completing the activity, learners should be better able to:
