PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This case-based live virtual activity is designed to improve clinicians’ ability to use an evidence-based approach for the selection of therapies for the treatment of patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC); adopt protocols to minimize the harms attributable to the use of guideline-recommended systemic therapies; in addition to considering the biomarker status of patients with advanced HCC when developing management strategies.

Learning Objectives
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Evaluate evidence from clinical trials assessing emerging therapies for the treatment of patients with advanced HCC
- Devise strategies to manage the therapy-related AEs associated with guideline-recommended systemic therapies for the treatment of advanced HCC
- Interpret data on biomarkers that may help inform treatment decision making for patients with advanced HCC
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for US-based hematologists/oncologists, hepatologists, gastroenterologists, interventional radiologists, pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary oncology team (NPs, PAs, pharmacists) responsible for the care of patients with HCC.
