PROGRAM OVERVIEW
We are pleased to present an innovative satellite symposium aimed at employing various educational methods to assist clinicians in enhancing their understanding of the intricate pathophysiology of COPD. This symposium will also focus on the application of evidence-based diagnostic and treatment guidelines for COPD in clinical settings, as well as the development of individualized management strategies for COPD patients that prioritize patient-centered care and shared decision-making practices.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Describe the complex pathophysiology of COPD
- Apply evidence-based COPD diagnostic and treatment guideline recommendations to clinical practice
- Design personalized management strategies for patients with COPD that incorporate patient-centered, shared decision-making approaches
TARGET AUDIENCE
This educational activity is specifically designed for pulmonologists and pulmonology APPs involved in the management of patients with COPD.
