PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This enduring activity is focused on the care of patients with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This CME initiative is designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of patients with breast cancer.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Describe the immune system’s role in the pathophysiology of triple-negative breast cancer
- Discuss the treatment rationale and potential synergies with the combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the treatment of metastatic TNBC
- Review the clinical trials data on immune checkpoint blockade in combination with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with metastatic, triple-negative breast cancer
