Learning Objectives
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Employ diagnostic best practices for pediatric patients with moderate to severe AD and incorporate severity assessment tools to guide patient management decisions
- Review the clinical profiles, including sensory tolerability issues such as application site pain, and mechanisms of action of established and newly approved and emerging agents for the treatment of pediatric patients with moderate to severe AD
- Design individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with AD that incorporate specific patient factors, current evidence-based guidance, and the clinical profiles of new and emerging treatments
- Examine the benefits associated with pediatric patient-centered, team-based, shared decision-making approaches for the management of moderate to severe AD
Target Audience
This activity is intended educate PCPs, NPs, and PAs about diagnosing, treating, and managing atopic dermatitis in pediatric patients.
