Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of US-based gastroenterologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, and specialty nurse practitioners and physician assistants involved in the treatment of adult and pediatric patients with eosinophilic esophagitis.
Learning Objectives
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Facilitate an accurate diagnosis of EoE based on its clinical and histologic presentation in pediatric and adult patients
- Evaluate the clinical profiles of available and emerging therapeutic options for children and adults with EoE that target the underlying pathophysiology of the disease
- Design management plans for pediatric and adult patients with EoE that reduce the risk of disease progression and improve quality of life
