PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This interactive TeleECHO program seeks to help healthcare practitioners involved in the management of patients with AML to better: select guideline-recommended molecular testing and apply results to treatment strategies; personalize treatment based on disease- and patient specific-factors; recognize, prevent, and manage adverse effects of CLL or AML treatment; and apply shared decision-making when communicating treatment options with patients.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This multi-modular educational initiative is intended for US-based community medical oncologists, and other healthcare providers involved in the management of patients with AML.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to
- Summarize key best practices in genomic and molecular assessment of AML to ensure optimized clinical assessment in the community oncology setting
- Assess clinical updates informing management of newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory AML through interpretation of disease- and patient-specific factors
- Describe best practices in the assessment and monitoring of potential adverse events in AML to optimize care
