PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This online activity will help increase the understanding of current management and treatment for nontuberculous mycobacterial lung disease (NTM-LD).
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended to meet the educational needs of infectious disease specialists involved in the care of patients with NTM-LD.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the program, attendees should be able to:
- Identify diagnostic and management best practices for patients with NTM-LD including strategies for preventing drug-related adverse events
- Explain how health status, comorbidities and patient preferences can be used to personalize treatment goals for patients with NTM-LD
- Describe the MOAs and clinical profiles of established and emerging therapies for patients with NTM-LD
- Discuss strategies to improve patient adherence to therapy and achieve treatment completion
