PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program will focus on assessing treatment options with different mechanisms of actions for patients who are suffering from moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. Furthermore, TYK2 inhibitor treatment will be reviewed to determine if patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis may benefit from these treatment approaches. Lastly, we will review the importance of shared decision-making and the role it plays in this patient population.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of U.S.-based dermatologists, dermatology nurse practitioners, dermatology physician assistants, and Primary Care Physicians involved in the management of patients with psoriasis.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Interpret results from studies assessing treatment options with different mechanisms of action for patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis
- Identify patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis who may benefit from a TYK2 inhibitor
- Incorporate SDM into treatment planning for patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis
