PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This activity will use an interactive and competitive game show format to explore the use of monoclonal antibodies for the treatment and prevention of COVID-19. Participants will learn more about how to identify patients who are candidates for monoclonal antibody therapy, evaluate up-to-date clinical trial data, and discover resources to help improve access to these novel therapies.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for health care providers who are involved in the care and treatment of patients with COVID-19 in an outpatient setting, including primary care physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, and pharmacists.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Evaluate clinical trial data of COVID-19 monoclonal antibody (mAb) therapies for preventing and treating SARS-CoV-2 infection
- Develop strategies to improve access to mAb therapies for people with COVID-19
- Use tools and resources developed to promote safe and responsible use of infusion therapies for the treatment of patients with COVID-19
- Implement COVID-19 related initiatives and programs aimed at lessening health disparities in underserved communities in regular clinical practice
